ACT UPON PROPOSED CONTRACT FOR COLLECTION OF CLASS C MISDEMEANOR FINES:
Lupe Zamarripa, Dan Romo, and Steven D. Saucedo of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP presented a proposal to the Court, for services for collection of class c misdemeanors for JP Courts only.

During discussion of this item, two individuals addressed the Court concerning their objections to this development.

ACT UPON PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SUBDIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS:

the third and final public hearing on the proposed subdivision rules and

ACT UPON PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED 2006-2007 UVALDE COUNTY TAX RATE:
This was the second of two required hearings on the proposed tax rate, with no action being taken.
The public hearing opened at 10:44 a.m. with the following persons expressing their concerns:

The Court conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed 2006-2007 budget at 10:50 a.m. No comments were made by citizens concerning this matter, and no action was taken by the Court.

The Court unanimously approved the request of Commissioner Moreno to extend CR #407 approximately 1 ˝ miles and include this portion in the County’s lateral road census.
