The County Clerk’s Office shall collect all fees prior to service being rendered

·         ONLY QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MAY REQUEST/OBTAIN A CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH

·         A WRITTEN APPLICATION SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT MUST BE SUBMITTED,  ACCOMPANIED BY A PICTURE ID (certificate, license, or document issued by this state or another state, United States or foreign government)

·         Required fee is due at time request is made for certified copy/search/verification.  Said fee is non re-fundable.

·         The Uvalde County Clerk has records of deaths that occurred outside the City of Uvalde

·         Deaths that occur at the local hospital or within the city limits are recorded at Uvalde City Hall

·         Deaths are recorded in the city or county where the individual passed away – not the county where the deceased resided
