The County Clerk’s Office shall collect all fees prior to service being rendered

·         ONLY QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MAY REQUEST/OBTAIN A CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH

·         A WRITTEN APPLICATION SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT MUST BE SUBMITTED, ACCOMPANIED BY A PICTURE ID (certificate, license, or document issued by this state or another state, United States or foreign government)

·         Required fee is due at time request is made for certified copy/search/verification. Said fee is non re-fundable.

·         The Uvalde County Clerk only has birth records that occurred outside the City of Uvalde

·         Birth’s that occurred at the local hospital or within the city limits are recorded at Uvalde City Hall

·         Most Texas birth certificates may be immediately purchased in the Uvalde County Clerk’s Office.  This office uses a remote access system to the state’s records dating from 1926 to the present.
